We have a 40 foot long by 20 foot wide above ground pool, would the 2 Wheel or the 4 Wheel Pool Cleaner work better than the other? The pool is about 4 1/2 ft deep. Does the 4 wheel come with 33 foot of hose too or longer? Can more house be ordered?

For a pool under 6' deep we suggest the 2 wheel Pool Cleaner. The 4 wheel cleaner is for pools deeper than 6'. The 4 wheel cleaners come with 33' of hose and you may purchase additonal hoses for both here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352028024.htm

My pool is a 10,000 gal. deepest point is 6 feet do I need a 4 wheel pool cleaner or will a 2 wheeler be good enough?

The 2 wheeled cleaner would be just fine since the gallons are perfect for that cleaner. Also, the max depth the cleaner is "best" for is 6 feet, so you are good for that as well. If you get lots of leaves might I suggest a leaf catcher that gets placed between two of the sections of hose. http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02201321001425.htm This would help keep the larger debris from clogging up the pump basket.

What is the diameter of the hose? 1 1/2" or 2"? I couldn't find it in the description or manual, and I need to get a leaf filter/trap.

Hello Terry - The hose is 1-1/2". We would recommend the Hayward W560 Leaf Canister for the The Pool Cleaner hose.

You could always see the stripes from the two paths the cleaner would take. After talking to our pool guy he recommended The Pool Cleaner. I had a good laugh when it arrived (quickly, easily and at a good price from Inyo) because the box said Poolvergnugen! How can you go wrong with German engineering? Easy swap out with the old cleaner and bam! The poolvergnugen kicks butt. Enough said.

It was so easy, the box came in the mail I pulled the parts out put them together just like it said plugged it in and now I have a clean pool what a great deal!

Took the Pool Cleaner out of the box. Attached hoses together, following easy instructions. No tools needed. Then we put it in the pool, connected to the existing hose outlet, and it works great! I appreciate the helps on recommended RPM's for optimal performance. It keeps the bottom of or pool spotless. We love it, which is why we bight the exact same pool cleaner when our old one wore out.

cleaner does not live up to expectations! the speed necessary for proper cleaning can't be achieved! our navigator worked fine until it wore out.

This is my 4th summer using this cleaner. I’ve been a pool owner for 20 years in two different houses so I’ve had the opportunity to use multiple suction side pool cleaners. This is the most reliable, consistent and QUIETEST cleaner I’ve ever used. I had the pool resurfaced in 2017 and the pool company recommended this cleaner (actually their warranty stated they weren’t liable for any physical damage caused by cleaners, and explicitly mentioned this one as a recommended product lol). I was reluctant to purchase based on the price, but am now glad I did! Buy once, cry once. This thing absolutely gets every location in the pool with ease. I’ve even seen it climb the wall and run along the swim out!

The best suction cleaner on the market today, imo. as a pool pro I work on and install all types of pool cleaners in all types of pools. This unit is worth every penny. Yes it can get jammed up by rocks or palm dates but what suction cleaner doesn't. It is long lasting and does its job well. My "go to" suction cleaner.

I would like to say that after all the reviews that i read on this cleaner i decided to by the 4 wheel unit last November. So I have waited and tested the unit for quite some time thus i feel my review is impartial and comes from product and manufacturer experience. The unit is easy to assemble and use just connect the pipes and then connect them to your port. Easy. The problem I have with this unit is that if your pool has trees around it, this unit is virtually useless, it is actually worse than the cheap Kreepy Krauly knowoffs, I own one and it does a better job. The concept is good but as I mentioned before if you have leaves and or pine needles like we do here in Houston this unit is NOT recommended! It get's clogged and just sits in one spot for the entire day. You have to monitor the unit and always unclog it. Who has time to do this?! The problem is the small opening /port that sucks up the dirt; it is way too small and it clogs instantly. Thus is you have any type of large debris this unit is worthless! I give it 2 starts mainly because it does clean algae and dirt deposits also the unit itself seems well built. On the other hand beware of Hay ward products! hayward is very indifferent when it comes to any type of warranty work, beware! the pipes on the unit began to form small pin holes , thus sucking in air and thus making the unit slow down and not function. This mind you only after 4-6 months. i contacted Hayward and they just blew me off. Thank goodness for INYOpools that stands behind what they sell and within a couple of weeks they sent me an entire set of the pipes. Still only six months and the pipes began to deteriorate? Again I have a cheap Kreepy knock off unit and am using those pipes, they are at least 4 years old and no problems. So in short if you have any type of tree around your pool stear clear form this unit and don't forget how Hayward backs their products, they don't. Lesson learned. I hope this helps any future clients that consider this unit. See pictures below and please notice how the pool is not that dirty and yet after a few minutes the unit clogs.

This pool cleaner is the best we have had. Easy to setup, cleans the bottom well, grabs all leaves (even large), and reaches all of the places of the pool without getting hung-up.

Great pool cleaner. Very easy to assembled. Keeps our pool floor spotless, and has no problem climbing from the deep end to the shallow end. It climbs the walls part way, but enough.
