Installation & Technical Tips

Check Valve Placement – Install a check valve on the suction side to help maintain prime and speed up startup.

Use Larger Suction Plumbing – Matching or upsizing the suction line reduces strain on the pump and improves flow efficiency.

Maintain Straight Pipe Clearance – Keep at least 12" of straight pipe before the pump inlet. For larger plumbing, maintain a distance equal to five times the pipe diameter from the first valve, tee, or elbow.

Elbow Positioning – Avoid installing 90° elbows within 12" of the pump inlet or outlet. Two 45° fittings are preferred to improve hydraulic efficiency.
