I have a Magnum Force 2HP Pump that is dated after 2004. I had to buy a new Jacuzzi motor last Summer and the motor is 2.65 HP. I my current Pump is not repairable, so I need to buy a new one. Should I get a 2.50 HP Pump or stay with a new 2HP pump

If you currently have a 2.5HP pump I would recommend seeing if your set up is going to function fine if you decrease the flow rate by purchasing a 2HP pump.

Hello Mark, depending on feet to head which you can run calculations for your personal feet of head under "How Do I Calculate Feet of Head for My Pool?" Once you figure your feet of head, according to 2HP Magnum Force GPM 2.0 HP would be 108 GPM for 40ft, 99 GPM for 50ft, 90 for GPM for 60ft, 80 GPM for 70ft, 69 GPM for 80ft, 51 GPM for 90ft, and 31 GPM for 100ft.

i need to replace a pool motor plus pump. The motor is a Century Centurion and the pump is a Jacuzzi - Magnum Force. The manufactures label for the motor shows 2.0 HP, but there is also a label that shows Total HP = 2.4. Question - what actual HP do i need? Thanks

Yes if you have a 2hp motor with a higher Service Factor then you would go with this unit. You can also go with Magnum Force V Series 2.7HP Variable Speed Pump (VMF-S2) - 94026140

I have a 2 hp Carvin pump that the previous owner allowed to freeze and bust. Can I order just the pump and housing since the motor seems ok?

A  Answered on 4/5/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Kevin G.

Hello, yes you could just replace those parts. I also recommend checking if your impeller and diffuser are in good condition. If they are not, you will have to get the ones based off of the motor that you are using.

Woke up this morning, no pool running. Main pump tripped breaker, yikes not good timing! It is a Jacuzzi Magnum Force 2hp unit (2UMF-S), been leaking on the bottom for some time and finally shorted out the motor. The unit I want to order from you looks like a direct replacement...can you confirm? This one lasted 13 years so going with same seems a safe bet.

Yes, you are correct. This is the current replacement for the same model pump that you have.

Hi, John. You will need a 25-30 amp breaker to operate this pump.

I need to replace my Magnum 2HP pump. Is there a replacement for the 94027120?
 Reply

A  Answered on 5/27/2019 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi EC, We would suggest the 2 HP PureLine Prime as great replacement pump for the Jacuzzi Magnum, the plumbing ports on the PureLine Prime are not in the exact same spot as your current pump so you will have a little re-plumbing.

Hello Patricia, thank you for contacting INYO POOLS. Based on the model you had we would recommend the Waterway Champion 2.0 HP Full Rate EE Pool Pump - CHAMPE-120. This unit would match the gallons per minute specs of the Carvin Magnum Force Pump 2 HP Pump.
