My filter parts is: FLT FNS PLS48. Now I need to replace two complete sets of Pentair filters. Which model should I buy? Could it be: Filter Area (sq. ft.): 48 Grid, Length: 24", Identification: American, Hayward, Pac-Fab, Pentair, Sta-Rite, Full Grid Parts #: FG1004, Partial Grid Parts #: PG1904, Full Grid width: 11 - 1/2", Partial Grid Width: 9 - 1/2" ?
My own measurement of the existing Full Grid width is 10 - 1/2". So it doesn't quite tally. Any advice?

Hi Mohd, The 48 Sq. Ft. Grid Pack (7 Full & 1 Partial) (FG1004PACK) would be the correct size grid pack needed for your model filter.

If you are lucky, the sticker on the front of the tank will have a mark next to your model number. Barring that, if you measure the length of one of the grids ( top to bottom ) and then multiply that number by 2, that is the square footage of your filter. Example : if your grids are 18" long, you have a 36 sq ft DE Filter.

Hello Derek. The PureLine PL0187 is NOT compatible with the Pentair/Sta-Rite/SwimQuip DE Filter Model DES 36. Attached please find the Sta-Rite/SwimQuip DES Stainless D.E. exploded parts diagram. The Sta-Rite/SwimQuip DES Element Assembly grid replacement guide identifies a quantity of 7 - Element, De 11 In (fg-3011) and a quantity of 4 - Element, DE 16 1/2" Center Port (FG-3016) are required.
