My PAC FAB Nautilus filter, 20 years old, is dripping from the outlet of the top of the pressure relief valve. I need a replacement. All I see available are 'Manual Relief Valves' p/n 273550. They do not show a top air relief, only a manual thumb screw bleed port. Every day when the timer turns the pump on, air vents out all by itself, the stops when the filter is charged with water. I can't see how that can happen with the manual valve. What is the p/n and where can I buy the auto relief valve?

Rick Pivetz, Automatic Pressure Relief Valves are generally used for commercial application. Someone may have installed it on that filter but that's not something that we sell.

I have a pac-fab (aka pentair) fns filter pre 1993. Can I retro fit the newer manual air relief valve to the top? Meaning I would have to drill it to the larger size

Hi, Unfortunately, there is not a way to retrofit this if your Lid does not already have the opening for this air relief assembly. If you can send us photos of your air relief assembly we can locate the correct one for your unit.

Can we buy just the black tee, 273550, without the pressure gauge, etc. And can you confirm that it is black, not clear? Thanks,

Hi, Brian. The Air Relief body is not sold separately, only as a kit with the gauge. This Air Relief Assembly - 273550 is black.

My air relief valve leaks air and water. I don’t know the year of my filter because it was here when I bought the house. Looking at the attached photos will this work on my filter? Also, are there other parts I should replace like gaskets an or o-rings?

I want to replace the preasur rellief valve on my nautils De filter, if i order the the assembly does it come with washers ,spacers and nut needed to install it.

Hi, Jess. You will have to turn the pump off, release the air, remove the lid from the lower body, undo the air relief assembly lock nut.

Does this replace Pentair 273564 clear ? I am replacing the second 273564 because the clear plastic seems to develop leaks, likely due to sun exposure. This one, in for a few years now has a crack where water comes out when it is under pressure and air goes in when not.
Is there an automatic air release version which you could recommend? I have a TR 140 C filter.
