Yes this lid does fit the Hayward SP15802SFP Pump, we also carry a Generic Version of this Lid which we have had good success with and it will save you some money!

Angie, This lid will not fit a Turbo Injection model # SP33152 Pump. The Turbo Injection model # SP33152 uses the same parts as the Hayward Super II Pump.

Dieter, The P/N SP1510Z1XEHC is for the Hayward Matrix pump. The Strainer Cover w/ Lock Ring & O-ring, Matrix (SPX5500D) will be the correct cover for the Hayward Matrix Pump.

Lisa, Part # 5111-17A is correct for most Hayward Power Flo pumps including the 1500 and 1700 series. You need to check if your model is included in these series of Hayward Power Flo pumps to be sure.

Blew the lid on my Hayward Power Flow LX (SP1580X15). On the lid itself it has the #SP1515A on it. Will this lid work on my pump? If so then I would like to order.

The part# on my pump lid is SP 1500 02. I see some on your website that are similar ("SP1500D2A" and "SPX1500D2A"). Are they the same or is mine different?

Hi, This item and p/n' "SP1500D2A" and "SPX1500D2A" are the same as the pump lid you have. The "02" on the ending of your lid is likely "D2" depending on how you look at it.

Hello Jamie, The Cover, Strainer, Clear Lexan With O-ring (spx1500d2a) will fit the Hayward Power-Flo LX EP1550LX model pump. I would also recommend replacing the Cover O-ring (spx1500p) along with the lid.

I have a Hayward Ultra Pro LX pump. I use vaseline to lubricate the strainer cover O-ring, and the under surface of the cover in contact with strainer housing. When I need to remove the cover to clean the strainer basket, it is extremely difficult to rotete the cover to the open position. What I do make the cover open and close operation less difficult Lubricant?

Paul, Do not use vaseline. Vaseline is petroleum based and will deteriorate the o-ring. You will need to clean the lid and replace the o-ring. You will need a water based or non-petroleum based lubricant.

I was hooking up the hoses to my Hayward Power-Flo LX Pump and pool yesterday. I put all new o-rings on the filter lid and pump strainer lid. I tightened the strainer lid fully, but had a steady water leak from the lid. Any ideas what could be causing the leak? I couldn't find any damage to the lid or the strainer itself.

Jann, I would recommend lubricating the lid o-ring. If it was not lubricated, it may get pinched while you are securing the lid in place.

I have a 1988 Hayward Power-flo series pump and filter. The strainer cover (SP-1500-D-2) is impossible for me to remove. It is so difficult that the man who tried to help me was afraid he would break it. What do you suggest? At one time Vaseline was used on the O-ring and rim. I have cleaned that off and put the recommended lubricant just on the O-ring itself.

Hi, Anne. If you're unable to remove the strainer cover I would recommend placing the entire strainer assembly. You can take a chance to see if you're able to remove the cover without damaging the strainer.

Will this strainer cover work on 1 hp Hayward power flo self priming LX series SP15801 Model 548A84Ao4, Serial Number H2K93? I find my cover has a broken tab that holds it on the pump. It does look like the picture. Let me know so I can order it. Can't open the pool till I find one.
