How do I replace the clear lexan lid on the Pentair Superflow pump. I turned the clamp over, however the lid will not come out freely. I don't want to use a rubber hammer to not cause damage. Please help.

If you carefully use a flat head large screwdriver you can remove it by locating the tabs and prying it off.

Try removing the air bleed plug on the bottom of the pump/trap. You are probably just suction locked in place.

How do you remove the lid from the locking ring on a pentair superflo pump. Mine has small tabs in the clear lid that prevent it from easily coming out of the locking ring.

Hi Chuck, try to wiggle the clear lid a little bit if it gets stuck on the locking ring to remove it. These usually get tricker to separate as they get older, so it may be time for a new lid and locking ring.
