Does this include 1 or 2 unions? If one, does it matter if used on inlet or discharge side of pump? Thanks.

Hello- This is just one complete union and it does not matter which side of the pump it is installed on.

I have a Pentair Whisper Flow Pump with 2" PCV SCH 40 piping. The pump outflow connector is leaking water through the threads. Will this Union replace my faulty threaded union conector?

Hi Mario, yes this fitting will replace the 2" male adapter shown in the photo with the blue glue and pipe putty. I would start by replacing that male adapter with this union. The only concern would be if you have a crack in the actual pump housing and your pump housing is leaking and not the fitting. If that is the case then you will need this Pentair Whisperflo Pump Housing but I would start off with replacing the fitting with this union and hopefully that fixes the problem. Also, use a lot of Teflon tape on the male threads of the union before installing as that will help prevent any leaking.

Is this what I would need on the inlet and outlet when I replace my Hayward Super 2 Pump Housing? When there are threads, as there are on the pump housing, do I need pvc glue?

Hello John. The CMP Union 21063-200-000 does not require the use of PVC Glue or Teflon Tape to seal the connection at the port. The Union comes with an o-ring (installed on the MPT) which provides an excellent seal. Please note the CMP 2" MPT x 2" Socket Union fits the Hayward Pump Housing model SPX3120AAZ (2" port size). Pump Housing Strainer for Hayward Super II 2" ports w/ Unions - SPX3120AAZ They are not compatible with the Hayward Pump Housing model SPX3100AAZ (1 1/2" port size)

Hello Tony. The Pentair SuperFlo has threaded ports for 1.5" internal FIP, and 2" external union threads. The Pool Pump Union 1.5" Male x 1.5" Socket fits the SuperFlo internal threaded port size X 1.5" PVC inside slip/2" PVC external spigot. The CMP 1.5" MIP, 2" Socket Long Union fits the SuperFlo internal threaded port size X 2" PVC socket. The Union Kit for Pentair SuperFlo fits the port's external threads X 1.5" PVC inside slip/2" PVC external spigot. The CMP 21063-200-000 is not compatible with the Pentair SuperFlo Pool Pump.
