This generic pump housing is a replacement for the threaded front housing (Pentair part #355302). Some Challenger models have a front housing with a slip connection; here is a link to that part: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352019314.htm.

Does this part include o-ring?

Hello Gene, The 25357-004-000 Generic Challenger Pump Housing does not include the o-ring for the housing. The pump housing o-ring is a part # 5002-14 Housing Gasket (355329).

On our challenger part I have a part number of 355460. Will this part fit although it is a different number?

Yes this would be the proper replacement housing for the Pac-Fab / Pentair Challenger.

Hi Barry,Yes, this will work on your Pentair Challenger 34-6201.You will also need the O-Ring, O-419 - 90-423-1419 when replacing this Housing on your pool pump

Hello Alex. The Pump Housing for Challenger Pump - Universal Fit - 355302 is compatible with the Strainer Pot 355300. It is recommended that the O-ring 2-3/8" ID be replaced concurrent with the Pump Housing. Attached please find the Pentair Challenger Pump exploded part diagram for reference.

Hello Jay. The Pump Housing for Challenger Pump - Universal Fit - 355302 is compatible with Pentair Challenger models CHII and CFII. The Seal Plate O-Ring and Trap Assembly O-Ring should be replaced concurrent with the new pump housing installation. Attached please find the Pentair Challenger Pump exploded parts diagram for additional reference.
