I am replacing a Hayward P/N SP3020X25EEAZ installed for 230v, I know what my electrical consumption is about 2kw as measured, this pump shows 1.55kw, is this a comparable parameter or is this just a motor rating without consideration for actual work while pumping?

Hello Bob. The Hayward Super II SP3020X25AZ is a Standard Efficiency Max Rated 2.5 HP, SF1.00, 230V, THP 2.5 Pump. The Hayward Super II SP3020EEAZ is an Energy Efficient Full Rated 2.0 HP, SF 1.25, 230V, THP 2.5 Pump. The difference in energy consumption can be attributed to the Standard Efficiency 2.5 THP pump motor vs the Energy Efficient 2.5 THP pump motor.
