Hi Stephen, I am showing that the part # of your pump 94028420NBOX is a 1 HP two speed pump. The pump on this page would be a single speed and not a dual speed, it will work on your system but it would not have the low speed. This pump has the discharge port coming out of the top of the pump. If your discharge port comes out the side of the pump then you would need the SLR 1 HP Pump Horizontal Discharge.

label on pump is faded but appears to be 94027620NBOX (STLR6). It appears to have a 3/4 HP motor. I was thinking of upgrading to a 1 HP motor but looks like i would need to also replace the impeller. Cost s the same as a new pump. So, will this pump be a suitable replacement? Mine is hardwired. Does that matter? Also, wanted to get a 2 speed motor if possible. I see a 3/4 HP part# BN36. Will that work in my pump? Shaft is 1/16" longer than stock motor 7-177954-20.

Hi Ric, If you want to stay with a single speed pump then going with this pump would be a good option, you can remove the pump cord and hard wire the pump. The complete SLR pump is not available in a dual speed model so if you wanted to go dual speed you would need replace your motor and use your current housing. To go this route you will need the BN36 Motor, he Jacuzzi SLR Tune Up Kit and a Dual Speed Switch.

Vern, On the SLR 1 HP Above Ground Pump Vertical Discharge (94022410) has 2-1/2" threads, which uses the S15UNS Half, 1-1/2" Slip Union (31175607).

will this pump work with a s166t sand filter ?

This pump will work with that filter but the equipment would need to be set up at 50 feet of total head in order to filter efficiently. Thats quite a distance. This is because this filter model can only handle 30 gallons per minute which would need to place the system that far away in order to decrease the total flow.

My friend has a Jacuzzi #94022410 pump with an AO Smith 1.0 SPL motor, part #186533-22. After unplugging the motor to clean the basket, it would not start again. It only buzzes a few seconds then clicks and stops. Does the whole unit need to be replaced or can I get parts to fix it. I thought maybe the pump blades were jammed with debris or something in the motor wore out. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi Scott, the first thing I would do is check to see if your impeller is clogged, we have an article on How to Clean a Pool Pump Impeller which should be helpful. If the impeller is not clogged then the issue is your motor which can be replaced, your pump would require the 1 HP Jacuzzi SLR Replacement Motor and we would also suggest the Jacuzzi SLR Tune Up Kit when replacing your motor. I am looking for the basket that goes inside the pump. I have taken all of the numbers off of the pump . Zacuzzi - Magnetek HP1.0 SPL, Volts 115 , RPM 3450 , FRV48Y, catalog part 7-177954-23. I can't seem to find this model on your website in order to find the correct basket I need.

Hello Ester, for the pump SLR 1 HP Above Ground Pump Vertical Discharge - 94022410, please check the baskets to see if they match what you have. Basket, Strainer, Oem (16024002r000) - 16072902R or Basket, Strainer - Jacuzzi, Oem (16105215r000). The size of each basket will be shown below the picture.

Hello Bill- You can replace your S7lr-s, 3/4 Hp, 115/230v, No Cord (94026929) with a SLR 1 HP Above Ground Pump Vertical Discharge - 94022410 as long as your filter can handle the extra flow rating (from 65gpm (94026929) to 90gpm (94022410) at 10 feet of head).

I have two questions I hope this is okay. You recommended this pump as a replacement for my S1LRDV/94027802 pump. My pool is an inground pool your replacement is for an above ground does this matter? My second question is my pump motor seems to run fine and pump is working but there is a high pitch squeal coming from it. The impeller is clear, I was wondering if it is worth repairing with one of your kits, it is about 15 years old. Thank you

Hi Walter, Two questions is not a problem. This pump can be used on an inground pool as it is a self-priming pump meaning that if the pump is sitting above your pool water level it can still pull water into the pump. The squealing noise is the bearings in your motor going bad and if you have had the pump 15 years then my suggestion would be a complete new pump. The cost of replacing the motor on your pump along with a seal kit will be about the same price as a complete new pump, so I would suggest the complete new pump.

Yes, this pump will have enough circulation to work with your pool. You just need to double check the gallons per minute rating on that pump does not exceed what your filter can handle.

Kim, If you are looking for a complete new pump then this would be the correct pump. If you just need a replacement motor then you will need the BN25 1 HP Replacement Motor and this Jacuzzi Seal Kit

Hi, Frances. The Carvin Cygnet 1 HP Pump - 94028891 or Magnum Force Pump 3/4 HP - 94027107 are the in ground pumps that are currently available. The SLR pump is an above ground pool pump.
