Hi, Brad. Yes, you can use this BN50V1 motor as a replacement. You will also need to get the Two-Speed Toggle Switch Assy. - Lo/Off/Hi - 18313301 and the Sta-Rite JWPA Seal Kit 1 & 1-1/2 HP - APCK1187

I am going to order this pump to replace a 2 hp motor #186022. It says it is the replacement pump for my spa. Because it is less HP will it affect the performance of my jets and spa? If not and I purchase it, what is the go kit that pertains to this pump?

Ben, I would not recommend going with a lower horse power. Please send us a photo of your motor label so we can confirm the correct replacement motor.

Hi, I have a Sta-Rite JWPA S5F-2A4 assembly with a S48B74A03 motor. I would like to replace the failed motor with a two speed motor and a manual switch. Will this motor work/fit?

Kevin, This motor will work however, it does not come with a switch. You would need to order a replacement canopy with the switch which you can view here: http://www.inyopools.com/Products7/07501352033636.htm

Can this be used with a 220 volt power supply?

The BN50V1 is an 115 voltage only motor; this motor will not operate on 220 voltage.

Can you direct me to the proper hi low switch for this motor?

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not offer the switch for the 2 speed 220v motors any longer. If you already have a 220 volt timer (on/off) you would need an Intermatic T106R to switch from high to low speed. If you do not have a timer currently you would need the T10604R which is a 220v on/off timer and a high/low timer.
