what is the warranty on the 1.5 hp reliant pool pump and the two speed pump. Also is the reliant motor the same as the Hayward super pump
 Reply

A  Answered on 5/31/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The warranty on this pump is a 1 year warranty. The reliant motor is made by a different manufacture than the manufacture of the Hayward Super Pump.

We have a 16 x 34 pool. Currently have a 1 1/2 HP pump which is very old. It came with the house we bought. Would this pump be big enough for that size pool.

Hi Kathy, Yes this pump would be large enough for your 16 x 34 pool.

I have a Hayward Northstar Pump, Part No. 187629.02. Is this pump a suitable replacement?
 Reply

A  Answered on 6/13/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Noshir, This pump would be a little too small for replacing a Hayward Northstar Pump. A good replacement for your Northstar would be the 1-1/2 HP Jacuzzi Magnum Pump.

Old Hayward pump wore out.

Written on 8/25/2021 by Guest

Ordered the pureline pump, got it in just a few days unhooked the unions on my super pump and unwired it, the new pump fit right in by using the plumbing off old pump, took about 45 min.to plumb and wire it up worked great. The only problem was the pipe threads are not American, had to wrap a few extra rounds of Teflon tape to get a tight fit

My motor was stopping irregularly due to over heating. Due to this the pump was leaking, so had to replace the whole pump and motor.

Ordered this pump at a great price and fast shipping. The only problem was the pipes on my old pump were 2 inch and the new pump was 1.5 inch.... A detail I did not realize until it arrived. I called the support team and they confirmed the change in pump size was not going to be a problem.

My pump went out. I ordered a new pump from INYO

Written on 8/4/2019 by Guest

I received my pump by UPS. The box looked good so I did not inspect. Went to install pump and the electrical cover on the motor was damaged. I took pictures and emailed INYO requesting a new cover... no reply as of today. I installed the pump and it works fine.

It took me a few trips to the hardware store to get the right fittings but got it done. After further review of the website I saw the fittings I needed. It would have been nice for that info to be listed as a needed accessory. SO-97336 1001645 David

My pool pump quit working.

Written on 12/27/2017 by Guest

I found great support for reviews and products at www.inyopools.com! I found a comparable pump in gallons per hour (GPH) and horsepower (HP). I selected a 1.5HP and had it shipped! Once the pump arrived, I set up to get it installed. First step is to always secure power by turning off the circuit breakers. Then, I removed the old pump by cutting the supply and return lines to the pump and disconnecting the electrical wiring. Once the old pump was out of the way, I placed the new pump in place. With it properly located, I measure the PVC pipe I would need to connect the new pump, made the appropriate cuts and prepared to assemble the pieces, which included two unions and the 1 3/4" to 2" male adapter for the pump itself. Using PVC primer and glue, I applied the primer, then the glue, to each connection working towards the pump. Once the male adapters were attached to the pump using plumber's tape, I then connected them to the rest of the PVC pipe fully connecting them in less then 20 minutes. After the plumbing was completed, I connected the wiring using the provided instructions on the inyopools.com site, which was extremely helpful! Once all connections were complete, I reapplied power and verified there were no issues. Using a 5 gallon bucket, I filled it with water from the pool, opened the filter basket on the pump itself and used the bucket to fill up the pump. Once there was water in the pump, I turned the pump on and systematically added water with the filter basket open until the pump began circulating water on it's own. I closed the filter basket lid and the pump filled completely. I bled air out of the filter system and that finished up the project! No leaks, no issues, and a pretty easy install. Great supporting documents and how-to's were provided by www.inyopools.com and made the job even easier.
