Hello, the motor we have for the breakdown of this unit is A.O. Smith 1 HP Square Flange Full Rate Motor - SQ1102 and we recommend replacing the pump seal.

What makes this energy efficient ? what is the expected current draw at 230V running normally ? Not the max FLA rating pls...I have a 15 amp breaker Is there a Pentair equivalent ? I have a single speed 1 hp AO Smith 1.65 SF running now. Variable speed replacement interesting, but too much upfront costs and programing it to a custom program not my specialty. 15000 gal pool thx

The Hayward TriStar 1 HP, Energy Efficient, Full Rated Pump draws 7.4 Amps at 230 vs the standard Tristar non EE's 9.6 Amps.

At this time, yes, the Hayward TriStar 1 HP, Energy Efficient, Full Rated Pump - W3SP3210EE can be purchased for installation in Arizona. Title 20 Compliance has not yet been mandated in Arizona.

Pump was a easy replacement. Unions were included huge plus to me. Excellent flow rate.

Good pump, easy to install. I would give five stars but the union rings are brittle ABS plastic, they tend to crack easily.
