What is the speed of this pump? It indicates single speed but no RPM speed indicated.

Good Day. The speed of a single speed motor is 3450 RPM. This is taken from the U.S. Department of Energy web site : The two-speed pump uses an induction motor and is basically two motors in one with a standard 3,450 rpm (full-speed) motor and a1,725 rpm (half-speed) option.

I currently have a Hayward RS2000 2HP pump.
Is that still a current model and do u have it or a replacement model ?

Bob, The RS Series Pump line is the same as the Hayward Super II EE Pump. The Hayward Super 2 EE Pump 2 HP Single Speed model will be the direct replacement for the RS2000 model.

I have this pump since the pool was installed 7 years ago. Today started to hear what sounds like the bearings starting to make some noise. What are my replacement options?

J, You can replace it with a dual or variable speed pump for extreme energy savings or stay with the exact model you have. Super Pump 2 HP Dual Speed or Hayward Max-Flo VS Variable Speed Pump

Might have to replace my Hayward 1.5hp pump. Might go with a 2hp just to improve circulation. What is the advantage of a 2 speed pump vs single speed?

The advantage of the 2 speed is that it offers a more energy efficient option. The low speed draws less amperage hence using less electricity. Also please confirm with one of our techs or a licensed contractor, that the gallons per minute rating is compatible between both the model of the filter and pump before you make any changes.

Pros: 220v, quiet and efficeint, good price
Cons: 5 year average life of motor.
I have been using this 2HP pump since I built the pool in 98. Seems to work very well for my small 15,000 gallon pool.

I got Inyo's number from the internet, I called and a very friendly, personable gentleman answered all my questions. I bought the Hayward pump and since I live in Orlando, went to pick it up the next day. Inyo's price was the best of all the other sites I visited or called.

all was great...other than the lack of internal packaging which caused damage to the stand in shipment....pump works great just pissed about the broken stand...better packaging would have prevented the breakage and only would have cost pennies on inyo pools part....ever heard of the plastic peanuts...?

Pros: Easy to install
The motor on the Hayward pump that was running the pool filter when we bought the house developed overheating and tripped the breaker. It took a couple of days to diagnose the problem, but I found the exact replacement for the pump on INYO Pools website. The price was nearly $100 less than what other companies were charging. Shipping was prompt and at a reasonable cost.
