Product Description

PureLine Replacement Cartridge for Sta-Rite® System 3 Model S7M120 Filters

Keeping your pool water clean and crystal clear starts with a reliable filtration system. Over time, pool filter cartridges wear out, restricting water flow and reducing system performance. If you’ve noticed cloudy water, higher PSI readings on your pressure gauge, or weaker return jets, it may be time to replace your filter cartridge. The PureLine aftermarket cartridge is engineered as a cost-effective, high-quality replacement for the Sta-Rite® System 3 Model S7M120 filter.

Why Replace Your Cartridge?

Filter cartridges work hard to trap dirt, oils, and debris. As buildup occurs, your pool system has to work harder, increasing strain on your pump and wasting energy. Regular cartridge replacement helps you maintain balanced water chemistry, improve circulation, and extend the life of your equipment.

For single-cartridge filters, we recommend replacement every 6–12 months depending on usage and water conditions. For multi-cartridge filters like the S7M120 cartridge set, replacement is typically needed every 3 years.

PureLine Cartridge Benefits

  • Affordable Alternative – Less expensive than the OEM cartridge, but built to the same high standards.

  • Optimized Flow – Designed to maximize water flow and extend cartridge life.

  • Even Dirt Distribution – Engineered pleats ensure balanced filtration and improved efficiency.

  • Energy Savings – Higher flow rates reduce strain on your pool pump, helping lower energy usage.

  • Banded Pleats – Provide strength and reduce the frequency of cleaning.

  • Durability – Constructed to withstand repeated cleanings without premature wear.

When compared with original Sta-Rite pool filter cartridges, PureLine delivers excellent value without compromising performance.

Compatible Models and Part Numbers

This aftermarket cartridge set is a direct replacement for the Sta-Rite® System 3 S7M120 filter. It replaces the following OEM part numbers:

  • 25021-0200S – Small cartridge element

  • 25022-0201S – Large cartridge element

When installed together, these cartridges form the S7M120 cartridge set, restoring your filter to peak operating condition.

Common Uses

The S7M120 replacement filters are commonly used in:

  • Sta-Rite® System 3 Mod S7M120 filters

  • Residential and commercial pool systems that require large-capacity filtration

  • Pool owners seeking cost-effective alternatives to OEM cartridges

For detailed installation and part references, many pool owners rely on the S7M120 parts diagram to confirm sizing and compatibility.

Frequently Bought With

  • S7M120 Tank O-Ring (24850-0008) – Ensures a proper seal during cartridge replacement.

  • Additional maintenance items such as pressure gauges, drain plugs, and replacement manifolds.

If the S7M120 filter is not your model, don’t worry. On this system 3 unit I also need the O-Rings to both of these filters. Do you carry them? Having a heck of time the unit is the original Sta-Rite system 3 before they were bought out.

Hi Rich, Could you confirm if you have the Sta-Rite S7M120 or if you have the S7M400? This would allow us to properly recommend the appropriate replacement cartridges for you.
