Will this gasket fit a Multiport Valve SP710XR50?

A  Answered on 10/4/2021 by InyoPools Product Specialist Rich N.

Hi Neil, this fits the older versions of that valve (from 1969-1975).  Your SP710XR50 requires this 5 Spoke Valve Seat Gasket - SPX0710XD.   Be sure to secure it with a good quality RTV Cement.  This video will explain everything you will need to do to replace it.

Good afternoon. Trying to find a replacement gasket for the Model SP 710 X32. Will this one work? Thanks

Hi Kevin, the correct spider gasket for the Hayward Vari Flo multiport valve model SP710X32 is part number 4700-10X. Also, here is a guide that we put together called "How to Replace a Spider Gasket on a Multiport Valve" that may also assist.

I have an old hayward variflo 710 x3e will this gasket work for that valve?

A  Answered on 6/26/2019 by InyoPools Product Specialist Matt S.

This gasket would be correct if your SP710 valve was made between 1969-1975; if your valve was made 1976 - Current then you would need (SPX0710XD) Valve Seat Gasket - 5 Spoke

My model # is SP0714T1. Will the so710 softer gasket work

A  Answered on 6/24/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Mike, This gasket will not work with the SP0714T1 valve, you will need to replace the Key/Seal Assembly-SPX0714CA.

Enrica, The Hayward 6 Spoke Valve Seat Gasket (SPX710D) is the correct replacement for the Hayward SP710 model valve. You can watch our guide on How to Replace a Spider Gasket on a Multiport Valve, and you'll also need  Adhesive For Valve Seat Gasket.
