Does this hose have a "swivel" joint at the end of it?

This hose does not have a swivel joint at the end of it. The Hayward Navigator, Navigator Pro, Pool Vac, and Pool Vac Ultra do not require a hose with a swivel.

why are my hayward navigator hoses twisting around one another instead of just guiding the navigator around the pool.

Judy- Sometimes the Single Light Grey Leader Hose (v532lg) 3265B on the Hayward Navigator Pro Concrete Cleaner 925ADC can become tangled easily when they have been left in the water too long. They build "memory" after a while, I would suggest taking all of the hoses out of the water and laying them on the pool deck in the sun as straight as possible. The sun will "bake" the hoses causing them to expand and when they cool they will return to normal.

Just a pie in the sky thought. I have an old Hayward NaviGator and occasionally having air leak issues with some of 4 ft sections of the hose. To compensate, I use high vacuum grease on every connection. Instead of buying replacement 4 ft. hose sections, could a regular vacuum hose be used instead. Of course the leader hose for the NaviGator would still be used but using one single piece of vacuum hose might eliminate the possibility of leaking NaviGator hose joints. Can this be done?

The 4ft sections of hose are made with a specific buoyancy and weight designed to work with these cleaners. Manual vacuum hoses are too heavy to be used for the Hayward pool vacuums.
