Have a 6 way Praher (tm-12-l) valve on top of sand filter, Came with used house we bought, no book on filter, Need find out what kind of sand filter we have also where can I find owners manual, or info on how to change out sand, also need to replace valve, as it has a crack in pipe connection ? Note system was winterized but service company did poor job , did not leak last summer . Thanks

Does the valve assembly come with the gasket / o-ring to mount to tank?

No it does not come with the o-ring that goes between the valve and the tank. This o-ring is actually considered part of the filter so could you let us know the make and model of your filter?

I removed the old valve did some cleanup and I also replace some of the plumbing attached to the valve. Then I replaced the new gasket and valve tightened everything up. It's was so easy to do.
More than 8 hrs

Had to remove old valve and when we replaced sand before installing new one, we did not notice a little sand got itself under the stand pipe and could not get the valve to seal. Got a shower or two until the right person told us to check the height of the pipe and lo and behold, that was our sealing problem. Now all is well.

easy to use, however, this only lasted us about 4 years and we are now having to replace it. This is partly due to our own fault, it has been out in the elements and not in a true "pump house" We will be building a shelter around the new one.

The valve didn't quite fit and I had to use a bunch of silicone to make a good seal that didn't leak. After that it has worked fine for the summer.
