Our inground pool has a Jacuzzi sand filter (Model #DV Assy 7-Pos 1 1/2NPT)(Order #39263009) which is dated 2000.
I have a very small leak coming from the 7 position handle. No other leaks around the piping, of where the bolts attach to the head and tank.
Do you recommend a complete gasket rebuild kit to fix the leak? Do you carry?
Or do you recommend a complete head ass'y replacement. Do this unit that you carry replace my older Jacuzzi 39-2630-09 head?

I would suggest the complete cover kit here for the Jacuzzi 7 way valve http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352015807.htm as there are so many parts within in the top half of the valve which could be causing your leak. I have a Jacuzzi sand filter head (7 position) 1 1/2 in. number 39263009.... I want to replace entire head. I believe it's a 2002 mfg. date. Do you have in stock and/or what is replacement number? Bolt on not clamp on.

Is "drain" the same as "waste"? If I only have a leak to my back wash port can I just change the spider gasket? Thank you

Hi Lindsay, If you have a leak coming out of your waste port then most likely this is a bad spider gasket or spring. We would suggest the DVK7 Repair Kit which includes both of these parts.

What position does the handle need to be on for "waste" there is not a clear "waste" position... I would like to bypass the filter when vacuuming but not sure which position the handle needs to be in for waste

Jacuzzi Sand filter -Model DV 7 POS. The backwash hose leaks slowly when pump is off and quite a bit when pump is running. I'm assuming I need a new gasket, but I'm not sure. Any idea what part I need to correct this? Thank you.

I am trying to decide whether to replace the broken 7 way valve (6 years old) or replace the entire (jacuzzi laser 225L) filter system (according to the label on the filter it is 14 years old) but I can't seem to find any information on the life expectancy of a sand filter system.

There is no way to tell how long it will last but the material that they are constructed from is built to last and depending on the elements and environment they are placed in determines how long. Just received my order of 39262803R DV DVK-7 Dial valve kit . I think the hardware kit that was included skew # 42372110 6 bolts , 1pressurer gauge , 1 O-RING is not correct. I was not able to use O-RING , to larger of a diameter . Can we correct this problem with the right O-RING ? Thanx LEO

Leo, The gasket that comes in the kit goes in between the valve and the flange adapter. There is another gasket that goes underneath the flange adapter.

I bought this valve 3 years ago. Works great. The only issue I have is the position sticker / pictures on the top of the valve have faded and pealed off. As I result I can no longer tell what position to put in for waste, backwash, drain, etc. I found one manual on line but it does not show the positions. Is there a manual or top view picture that can help show the positions for the valve. Thank you. -Steve

Some of these valves do have repair kits but not all. The first step would be to confirm the model of that valve so we can cross-reference that. If you cannot locate that then you can always email us images of it to upload@inyopools.com so we can try and identify it for you.

We have a sparco sand filter with a 7 position multiport valve. The number on the filter is 808-0043-sp(r) Will this replace it?

The valve has no waste setting. It has test, drain, filter,rinse, whirlpool and backwash. What setting should I use to vacuum heavy debris from pool without running through the filter?

You would want to use the drain setting on this valve to vacuum to discharge.

Hi Andrew, This DVK-7 Dial Valve Kit - 39262803R is the correct current replacement. I beleive we may this item listed twice on the website if order the 26-105-1018 or the 39262803R you will recieve a 39262803R valve.

My Jacuzzi #39263009 has the backwash outlet on the opposite side of what your part shows. Does that make a difference?

Hi Frank, This valve will replace your old valve and attach to your filter, however since the port locations are in a different location you may have some slight re-plumbing. This valve is the only replacement for a Jacuzzi #39263009.
