Does the motor and kit come with any instructions on how to change the motor on my pump?

I recently changed my pool motor and gaskets. I made sure to lubricate all the gaskets with vaseline. A few days later water is leaking from the pump. What did I do wrong? Help please!!

You never want to use vaseline on any rubber gaskets or o-rings. Vaseline is petroleum based and will deteriorate the rubber quickly. Whenever you change the motor on a pool pump it is recommended that you replace the gaskets and shaft seal as well. A >Go-kit contains the shaft seal, packet of non-petroleum based lubricant and gaskets you will need for your pump. If you already have the gaskets, you can purchase >Magic Lube.

My pump is not priming even after cleaning impeller. Will purchasing this kit aid in fixing that problem?

The seal kit can help with loss of prime. I can't guarantee that it will solve your problem. The loss of prime could be from an air leak at the valves or plumbing in front of the pump.

I am looking for parts for my Hayward max flo ll The parts i need are (Hayward oem parts in parentheses) (GMX600F) Housing O Ring (SX220z2)Diffuser O ring and (SPX 2700s a) Shaft seal assembly. I would like to know if your tune up kit hayward maxflo are the same parts I am describing If so I would like to order it. Could you please let me know if these are the parts I need? Thank you

David, The GOKIT1 will not work with the MaxFlo II pump. The tune up kits are not made by Hayward so they are not OEM. We do carry parts for the MaxFlo II.

Hello John, The A.O. Smith Round Flange 3/4 HP Up Rate Motor would be the correct replacement motor. You will also need the Tune Up Kit Hayward MaxFlo.

The correct tune up kit for the Hayward Max-Flo Sp2800 is the Tune Up Kit Hayward MaxFlo - GOKIT1 or if you have a salt system, the Tune Up Kit Hayward MaxFlo Salt Pools - GOKIT1SALT.

Hi, Brian. Thus Tune Up Kit is NOT compatible with the MaxFlo VSP Pump. The shaft seal and o-rings will all have to be purchased separately. They all are listed on the Hayward MaxFlo VS (Variable Speed) parts page.

Hello. I have a Hayward SPX2800AAC pump housing and a Century UST1102 pool motor, model C48K2N143C1C. Which kit do I need to replace the seals? I have included a picture of the plate on the pump. Thank you.
Our pool jets are shooting aerated water, thinking may need to replace pump seals. Ours is a Max-Flo pump. What kit would you recommend?

I am ordering a replacement 1 1/2 HP Hayward pool pump motor Model #C48L2N134B3 and was told this is model 1152. I have an order on line for this pump but was asked if I need seals. I said yes and your man wanted the motel of the pump. I got the Hayward model
# SP3010X15AZ and Serial # 21111111050852007. My question is what seal part number do I need to order that fits the motor and pump?

The seal kit for your model pump in a chlorine pool is the GOKIT2 and for a saltwater pool is the GOKIT2SALT.

Hi Anne, this is the correct seal kit for the Hayward model SP2807X10 Max Flo pool pump. For the Hayward model SP3007X10AZ Super II pool pump the seal kit for a chlorine swimming pool is the GOKIT2 and for a saltwater pool is the GOKIT2SALT.

I purchased my house four years ago and the pool and pump were already here, possibly installed 4 years prior. Recently, the motor is making a horrible noise, but still pumping. Do I need a new motor, or what should I try first?

If your motor is making a grinding noise then the bearings are failing. You may either replace the bearings (see guide, Part One & Two) or you can replace the motor. If you want a replacement motor, email us at upload@inyopools.com with the part, model, or catalog number on your motor's label. A picture of the motor label would be most helpful.

The Hayward Max Flo XL does not have an associated gasket kit. The O-rings and gaskets for that pump would need to be purchased separately from the aforelinked parts diagram
