I have a 1 1/2 HP Hayward filter, I need a timer box that I can connect to it. Will this handle it or do you have another timer that might?

This will only accommodate up to 1.0 HP pump. If this is for an above ground pool pump then you could use the following timer SP1500FT http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200022032590.htm

This timer is designed to operate an above ground pool pump which has standard 3 prong plug and is 1 HP or less. The timer plugs into a wall outlet and then the pump plugs into the timer, you set when the pump turns on and off through the timer dial on the front of the timer.

I am looking fo a outdoor timer for pool pump rated for 1.5 hp motor most intermatic outdoor timer are rated for 1 hp

Hi, Steven. We do not have an above ground pool timer that is specifically for 2 hp pumps. You will have to have it hard wired using one of these Pool Timers.
