My pump housing is leaking. I can not patch it with epoxy. The plate on the pump reads Model P4EA6E-186L and CODE L026. Is this the correct replacement housing for this pump. I recently replaced the motor and the inside of the pump but now the housing is leaking. IS THIS THE REPLACEMENT PART???

That model P4E does indeed match up with a Sta-rite Dura-Glas II ans/or a Max-E-Glas II If you click on the blue it will take you to their parts page. But, you are correct that part number 5055-16 is indded the body for the model you have.

i need to replace this housing but the one i need is 1 1/2". i bought a new 2" one and put reducers on it but i found out that where the difuser goes in is a different size on the 2" compared to the 1 1/2". what model do i need.

Hi Donald, The Diffuser port inside the housing the same size. You may have to confirm the model of the pump you have to make sure that you ordered the correct part. The Maxi-Glas/ Dura-Glas II pump wasn't available with 1-1/2" ports.

It is not going to depend on the motor, it is going to depend on the model of your pump. That pump body is for a Sta-Rite Dura-Glas 2 so if that is what you have then it will fit.

Have a leak in the body. Is this the replacement for a Model P4E6H-190L, Code 1G036? Also what other part numbers do I need to replace, including those that I should, but don't necessarily need. Thanks Howard

I bought a motor model K48L2PA101A1 from Inyopools a few years ago, now the housing has a leak. Will this work with that model motor? It appears the basket connected is a sta-rite, but I can't find a lot of other information on the equipment.

what impeller and defuser works with C176-59P body and tank. What is the port size for the defuser into the tank?

Hello James. If the installation of this part does not include a motor replacement, then a seal plate O-ring is the only additional part necessary. O-ring 10" ID, 1/4" (O-240) - 449 To assist in the replumb, you may wish to consider using unions. The Pump Body C176-59P inlet/outlet ports are 2" threaded. Attached please find information on CMP 2" MPT, 2" Socket Union. If you have 1.5" pipe a 2" to 1.5" adapter can be glued into the 2" Socket Union. CMP 2" MPT, 2" Socket Union (Single) - 21063-200-000

I have a sta-rite C76-59P can’t make out the entire model number P4E8G- 89. Will this fit? Is a C76-59P the same as C176-59P?

Hello Heather. The part number C76-59P is an obsolete number, replaced with C176-59P. The Tank Body C176-59P is compatible with the Pentair/Sta-Rite Dura-Glas II and Max-E-Glas II Pool Pump models P4E. Attached is the Dura-Glas II and Max-E-Glas II exploded parts diagram for reference. Sta-Rite Dura-Glas II and Max-E-Glas II Further pump identification can be gained by examining the pump lid for part number C3-185P or C3-185P3 which would be located on the circumference of the lid in the small section between the handle ribs.
