We have an older Hayward Super Pump II and the Basket lid O ring needs replacing. it say SP 3100 D on the lid. I am being told this is capable with the 3000S O rings. True? thx

Is this gasket made from the same material as the factory original Pentair part number U9-375? I have tried other equivalents that didn't quite seal and my pool guy said the problem wasn't the size of the o-ring but the material used. He said the original Pentair part's material was more compliant and therefore sealed better.

Hi May, this is a little too large for the strainer on your Sta-Rite Dura-Glas/Max-E-Glas pump. This Strainer Trap Cover O-ring should fit perfectly. Be sure to clean it and lubricate it when you service it so it lasts a long time and seals well.

Hi Andy, yes, the O-ring, 6-1/4" ID, 1/4" (O-12) will fit your Strainer Cover - C3-185P. Be sure to clean all of the sealing surfaces and apply some lubricant to help the new o-ring last a long time when you install it.
