Will this tank shell lower half 27001-0009S, fit my Sta-Rite system 3, model PLM 100 upper half? Also which tank o-ring do I need to seal the tank halves?

Hi, Michael. Yes, this Lower Tank Body - 27001-0009S will fork with the PLM 100 model filter. You will need the Cord Ring (3/97-Current) - 27001-0061S.

Can I use this lower tank to replace a sta-rite plm 150 with, and also would the top half of that plm 150 fit this lower half

Hi Mike, yes this is the correct bottom tank for the Sta-Rite PLM 150 model filter. It should fit with the lid as well unless it has contracted too much over time due to pressure fluctuations. I suggest replacing the lid o ring as well as that should help for the two halves to seal. You will need to know the date of the manufacturer to confirm which o ring that you need. You can use the serial number and contact Sta-Rite to confirm that. The two o ring options are listed at key number 4 on this parts diagram.

Hello Michael.  The Pentair Pool Products Tank Shell Lower Half 27001-0009S is compatible with the Pentair/Sta-Rite System 2 PLM 300.   The tank lid o-ring 27001-0061S would be correct if the filter's manufacture date is 3/97 to current.  Cord Ring (3/97-Current) - 27001-0061S  If the filter was manufactured prior to 3/97 the correct o-ring would be 27001-0060S.  Cord Ring (Pre-3/97) - 27001-0060S   Attached please find the Sta-Rite System 2 exploded parts diagram for reference.  Sta Rite System 2 MOD Media & MOD D.E.
