I purchased a Hayward Pro Series sand filter. Model No. S244S and Serial No. 14660. It came with a 1 1/2 inch valve. I have 2 inch plumbing. Does the WG (sp0715x62) work on this filter with my 2 inch plumbing?

I am having a problem with the SP715X62E vari flo valve. The selector is floppy and therefore doesn't clip into the correct port. I therefore can't make it for example Filter. I have replaced the gasket - but to no avail. If this valve still manufactured - if so can I purchase it - I am currently in France. Thanks Gilly Guy

Hi, Gasan. We do not have that specific Astral valve available, however, you can use the Hayward Multiport Valve, 2" Universal - SP0715XALL as a substitute.

Need a replacement valve for s310t2 sand filter, the vari flo valve has stamped SP-715 B. It the replacement SP0715x62?

Darrell, the SP715-B will not fit the Sand Filter with Top Mount Valve 30 Inch Tank - W3S310T2 based on information from the manufacturer. The correct replacement would be the Top Mount Valve for Sand 2" - SP071621.

Do you have the repair kit to replace the inside of the valve without having to reinstall the complete valve.

Unfortunately, no, we do not have the Hayward valve with the same centerline measurements. The 2" Threaded Multiport Valve for Sand and Quad D.E - 261055 is the OEM suggests for this filter. The generic Prahar brand Multiport Valve Kit 2" Threaded Port - SM2-PP3 can be used as an alternate option for this application.
