I have a Haywood Variflo XL Valve S180T 50psi 75gpm filter, I need either a replacement top mount valve or replacement gasket if they make one for this filter. When I change the filter from backwash back to filter it still send water out of the backwash port. Which part do I need for this filter?

When the valve leaks out of the backwash port that is a sign that the spider gasket has gone bad. That gasket comes with the key assembly being key number 9 on this parts diagram. The valve replacement is listed on this diagram as well.

I have a Hayward sand filter 21 series when running in filter or recerculate position I'm getting air in the tank would this be a possible spider gasket problem or do I need to get a new multi port head

The vari flow valve on top of our S360t2 filter is spraying water from the casing. It appears the vari flow valve needs to be replaced in total. Will a Generic Top Mount Valve for Hayward Sand 2" work?

Does the 2" refer to the bottom pipe that fits on the pipe in the sand?

2" refers to the size pipe for this valve. A 2" male pipe threaded fitting would thread into the ports (intake, return, backwash) on this valve.

No, this valve will not fit the Crystal Flo filter. You can use part number 4770-01 if you have the T-150-BP1, T-170BP-1, T-240BP-1, or T-200BP-1. You can use 4684-10A if you have the T-240BP-2.

Hi James, this will not fit your Sta-Rite Cristal-Flo II T-240BP-1 filter. You will need this Top Mount Valve 6-Way - TM-12-L if you have 1-1/2" plumbing or this Top Mount Valve 6-Way- TM-22-L if you have 2" plumbing.
