How many GPMs does this pump push
Hi, You would first have to calculate how much feet of head you have. You can use our How to Size a Pool Pump for Your In-Ground Pool guide step 7 to calculate the feet of head of your pool. Then use the Pentair High Flow Performance Curve Chart to find out the GPM of this pump to the feet of head of your pool.
what is the difference between a UR pump and a FR pump?
The difference between an Uprated (UR) and Fullrated (FR) pump is the total horsepower of the pump. For example if you look at a 343240 2 hp UR pump vs a 342238 2 hp FR pump, although they are both 2hp the uprated 343240 has a Service factor (SF) of 1.1 so its total horsepower (THP) is 2.2 HP whereas the FR pump would have a Service Factor (SF) of 1.3 so its total horsepower (THP) is 2.6hp. In short, a FR pump has a higher THP than a UR pump.
