What is the correct replacement motor in energy efficient and standard motors?
 Reply

A  Answered on 7/22/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Alex V.

Jim, The replacement motor would be the B854 motor. The only way to get a more energy efficient motor, would be with a 2 speed or variable speed motor. Please keep in mind that a 2 speed and variable speed will only run on 230v.

Can you purchase without the electric motor? I replaced it last year and only need the pump.

Hi Jimmy, yes you can essentially rebuild the pump by purchasing all components for your particular Pentair Challenger pump model using this parts diagram
