Gene-Yes, you can get just parts for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro 3/4 HP Full Rate Energy Efficient P6E6D205L. The parts you need are Strainer Pump Basket (c8-58p) 5055-19 and Trap Cover Assy (17307-0111s) 5057-33.

There is one way to remove the lid ring and that is to unscrew it. Unfortunately, we do not have any secret ways to remove a stuck lid. You can try placing a 2x4 against the edge of the lid and lightly tapping it with a hammer.

I am replacing a Sta-Rite pool pump. The pump motor is .75 HP with 220 power.. I have a 21k gallon pool with System 3 S7M120 pool filter. I'm finding .75 HP pumps harder to find than 1 HP pumps, although you have both. Should I stick to the .75 HP pump or would moving up to a 1 HP pump be ok? Will it result in less work on pump? Or might it put pressure on my filters. Also, how long might delivery be to the 95608 zip code?

Hi, William. I would recommend staying with a 3/4 hp rated pump. Increasing the hp on the pump will not allow it to work less, it will just move more water overpowering the filter if it can not handle the water flow. It would take 5-7 business day for ground delivery.

researching a replacement for a p6e6d-205l, noticed you also carry a p6ra6e-205l at a lower cost. Any advantage to upgrading to this pump and would it be a direct replacement?

Hi, Dennis. The Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro P6E6D-205L is a better pump than the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro - P6RA6E-205L. It has a higher service factor which will allow it to operate as a 1 hp pump using less energy. Yes, it will also be drop-in replacement.

Is this a good replacement for a pentair Ultra Flow 3/4hp 38448200?

Hi, George. This model can be used as replacement, however, the Dyna-Glas Pump 3/4 HP Up Rate 115/230v - MPRA6D-204L will be a better option.

This light weight and compact pump was extreemly easy to install considering the limited and confined space it needed to fit into. Electrical hook-up was a breeze with only three wires to bother with. The pump is easy to breack down into its two components to lube o rings or to clean. The pump runs quiet with very little to no vibration.
