How hard is it to replace the air relief valve assembly. There is nothing online about this

Hi, Linda. This is not hard to install. The air relief slides into the manifold then secured using the stainless steel clamp.

will de go into the pool if the dex2400cr doesn't have the material on the tube?

Hello, yes if this tube does not have the screen/ cloth on it, that can cause D.E. powder to go back into the swimming pool.
