Pre-Assembled Drop in Grid Assembly for the FNS Plus 36 Sq. Ft. DE Filter (FNSP-36)

This is the complete DE grid assembly used on the Pentair, Purex, Pac-Fab and American Products FNS Plus 36 Sq. Ft DE filter (FNSP-36).
The DE grids on the 36 Sq. Ft. FNS Plus filter measure 18" in length. This is the complete pre-assembled grid assembly which includes 8 DE grids, top manifild, bottom manifold, template, air relief strainer, extension and tie rods.
I have a nautilus ns36 stainless steel filter (Pac-fab ) from 1986 will this unit fit? Does it have a new o-ring for where it attaches to the filter? Do have o-ring that goes between the 2 halfs of the ss shell or housing? Mine is original seems to be fine don't know how long they should last ( # 59023500 complete )

Hi Mark, No this would not be the correct grid assembly for the Pac Fab NS36. You would require this DE Grid Assembly for the Pac-Fab NS36 We do carry the Tank O-ring for the Pac-Fab NS36 (o-ring which goes between top and bottom half of housing). This does not include the o-ring for where it attaches to the filter. We do carry All of The Parts to your Pac Fab Nuatilus Stainless DE Filter.

I have a Pac-Fab FNS36 DE filter, installed Dec 2003. Would this assembly be a correct replacement.

Hi Charles, This would not be the correct grid assembly, you would require the Pac-Fab FNS36 DE Grid Assembly.

Hi Jim, You would require the Purex Nautilus 36 DE Grid Assembly. This would be assuming that you have the 36 Sq. Ft. size.

I have a nautilus 36 purchased 1983..would this grid assembly fit..I have de returning to the pool..replaced multipart..manifold and few grids..still have de returning..technician said to maybe replace the whole assembly and drop it in..no one seems to know how to correct the problem..thx

Hi Cindy, This grid assembly is for the FNS Plus, since you have the FNS filter you will require the FNS36 DE Grid Assembly here.

After 3 summers of cloudy water, no matter how much I sanitized, scrubbed, and prayed over this 12,000 gallons of what my wife considered "sludge", I finally broke down and started researching the internet. Up popped INYOPOOLS, and I discovered some of the best pricing on the planet, for what I finally decided I needed to conquer "the green slime" I replaced the entire vane filter , manifolds and all, and then reapplied DE according to "the rules".
