I have Impeller part# 355067. Can this also be used on a 1 1/2 HP pump?

Hi, You would not be able to use impeller p/n 355067 with a 1.5 motor, you will need p/n 355074.

Hello, If you want to decrease pressure, you will also need to downgrade the motor as well.

I just purchased a 1hp motor with you along with a 355074 impeller. It looks that the pump was pieced together to work. I have a 355029 diffuser and the impeller will not fit in it, with that said I looked online and the same diffuser doesn't look the same. What part number do I need with this impeller?

Hi, Mike. The correct impeller is p/n 355067 based on the info you've provided.

New Impeller Just Because

Written on 6/27/2019 by Guest

We purchased a new home in February. While getting the pool ready for spring I disassembled the pump and motor because it was making an awful grinding buzzing sound. I found that the diffuser had broken in two pieces causing the rattling. This replacement diffuser was not an exact match to what I had but thankfully the diffuser plate matched to screw holes and the new diffuser mounted correctly. This unit works great and I have no complaints.

Broke impeller trying to remove from shaft in order to replace fractured pump seal.

Removed pump assemble from system. removed end of pump to hold shaft while removing broken impeller from shaft by turning clockwise. Cleaned spring seals behind impeller, reinstalled seal & new impeller. Reinstalled screw (counter clockwise) to secure impeller to shaft. Reinstalled pump to system, primed, restarted pump & checked for any leaks. Sound & performance was correct.
