is this the plug that covers the discharge spigot? it's threaded, and we never did see the plug in place. it's a Hayward Variflow SPS0710x32. and it never leaked before (4 years) but now it leaks constantly

A  Answered on 6/5/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, This Plus can be used with the SP0710X32 valve, the o-ring is bad but the o-ring is just as much as the plug which comes with the o-ring.

Do u have longer threaded drain plug for C3025...because mine keeps popping off and its new

A  Answered on 6/5/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Frank,There is not a drain plug with longer threads that can fit the Hayward C3025. If the Drain Plug w/O-ring (SP1022C) is new and it's popping out of the filter tank then the threads on the tank may be worn preventing the drain plug from fitting properly.

Tools Needed

The old plug cracked

Written on 5/30/2021 by Guest

Removed the old plug by unscrewing it and washed out the bottom of the filter tank with a water hose. Made sure no debris was in the threads of the tank and screwed in the new plug.
