This is a replacement top mount backwash valve which is a direct replacement for the Hayward SP0714T & SP711-13 valves as well as the Jacuzzi DVK7 valve.
The Hayward SP0714T & SP711-13 valves are commonly used on the following Hayward Pro Series Sand Filters: S166T, S180T, S210T, S220T, S244T & S270T.
The Jacuzzi DVK7 valve is commonly used on the following Jacuzzi Laser Sand Filters: 160L, 190L, 225L, 250L please note that the Jacuzzi Laser had two style valves a bolt on style and a clamp on style this is the clamp on style. Valve does include the pressure gauge.
The handle is hard to turn. Any ideas?

You may need a new spring or to check the gasket inside. There are also plastic washers under neath the handle that make turning it a little smoother. Those do dry out and crack. This looks like the part I need The only thing I know is that its a Hayward and there's a number on it (27-2599 6/98) If I were to order this from you and it does not fit correctly, Can I send it back for a refund?

Hi Matt, The part # of 27-2599 is the part # for a label which goes onto a Pac-Fab or Purex Valve and these valves are different than the Hayward valve. Is it possible you could get the name of the filter or model #, this should be located on a label on the side of the filter tank. You could also reply back to our email with photos as this would help us determine the valve you require.

I have a "Splash Pak SS160" from Jacuzzi Bros sand filter. Is this the correct replacement multiport valve?

Where can I purchase the fittings for the three ports of this Valve? I just purchased a new Hayward Sand Filter (SP210 Pro Series) and I need the fittings to hook up the hoses from the pump, the return, and the waste.

John- For the Hayward Generic Valve For Hayward Sand Filters 4802-01CP you can use a Combo Hose Adapter (SPX1091Z7) 31-150-1030 to screw into the ports of the valve and clamp down your hoses to.

He purchased a new handle and once we opened the pool this year, he attempted to attach the new handle. He is not a handy person and this replacement handle cost half as much as replacing the entire valve. From day one, the leaks we're massive. After a few weeks, I purchased the replacement value from your company. It came quickly. My husband replaced this one piece valve without incident and we have been leak free since!

Received mine and altho a perfect fit the valve was leaking in 3 places,2 around the top by the handle,and the clear glass inspection tube.Glass tube was an easy fix by just re-tightening by hand.Tightened the 6 bolts on top of the valve but the leaks continued.Contacted customer service and there reply was- "Did you try putting some pool gasket lubricant on it" ....... Really !!! a brand new valve and I am suppose to disassemble it and lube it ? Took the valve to the local pool store and payed the young man $20 to fix it. Customer service's proper reply should have been- Let us send you a new unit and put the defective part in the box and ship back to us.I will go elsewhere next time.
