You may need a new spring or to check the gasket inside. There are also plastic washers under neath the handle that make turning it a little smoother. Those do dry out and crack. This looks like the part I need The only thing I know is that its a Hayward and there's a number on it (27-2599 6/98) If I were to order this from you and it does not fit correctly, Can I send it back for a refund?

Hi Matt, The part # of 27-2599 is the part # for a label which goes onto a Pac-Fab or Purex Valve and these valves are different than the Hayward valve. Is it possible you could get the name of the filter or model #, this should be located on a label on the side of the filter tank. You could also reply back to our email with photos as this would help us determine the valve you require.

John- For the Hayward Generic Valve For Hayward Sand Filters 4802-01CP you can use a Combo Hose Adapter (SPX1091Z7) 31-150-1030 to screw into the ports of the valve and clamp down your hoses to.

Hi John, Gaskets are not used on the 3 ports on the filter valve. Normally you would screw male adapters into theese ports and wrap the male adapters with teflon tape.

Would this style valve diffuser be smaller than the on the SP0714T this one the diffuser is one quarter inch to big to fit int the filter tank

The new one does have descriptions of the notches the handle goes into. If you click on the smaller pictures, you will be able to see what the top will look like.

Hi, The CMP Generic Valve (27515-154-000) can fit onto a Plash Pak SS185 Filter. The pressure gauge is not included so you can use either the Bottom Mount (101D-204D) or Back Mount (102D-204D) pressure gauge.

I have an Aqua Tool top mount, above ground pool, sand filter. The top "dial" is leaking out the side. Its' a 26" sand filter. What part is compatible for replacement?

The top mount valves that we carry are specifically for the models AT3115, AT3118, AT3120, AT3124, and AT3130. If you need the 1.5 inch version that part number is 4600-1186 and the 2 inch version is part number 4684-10A which is only for the model AT3130. Hi George, this is the same valve the only difference is that it is an aftermarket valve made by PureLine and not manufactured by Hayward. We have found the quality of the PureLine valve to be every bit as good if not better than the Hayward valve, however, the price is much better for the PureLine. I have a SP0714T During normal operation, I have water coming out my waste line? Do I need a new valve replacement or can this valve be taken apart and rebuilt, does it have a spider gasket like others? The valve seems to turn OK, but seems to be leaking internally by passing out the waste line, thanks thinking of the Pureline replacement if I need new valve. thanks for any help, John

Hi Rosanne, This is a different valve then what you show in your photos. You have Waterway Sand Filter and will require this Waterway Sand Filter Valve. Yes it does matter which valve positions are in, please read this Article on How a Multiport Valve Works which will explain the different positions on the valve.

The top of my valve does say Hayward on it but I have had the sand filter for about 14 years. It was purchased from namco. Also I did not see a place where the pressure dial fits?

Hi Randy, this valve does not come with the clamp to secure the valve to the tank or the clamp o-ring.
