Hi Joe, This Pressure Gauge will work with the Pentair Triton II filter, the valve will be based on the size plumbing you have. You can view all available valves via the Pentair Triton 2 Fiberglass Sand Filter Parts page.

I'm new at this. I am changing the Sand in a Pentair filter. It calls for 45-55. When I removed the old sand, there was small gravel in the bottom of the filter. My question is this, "does the small gravel come in the sack with the sand? Or, do I have to purchase gravel separate?" Dumb I know, but that's my question. Thanks.

can a side mount pressure gauge be used (190058 number perhaps?) instead of the 190059 back mount (on my TM-22 multiport valve)? If yes, is there a reason or advantage to using the rear mount?

Good morning Tom, You can but I would recommend using what came stock with your system. I don't see any advantages to switching.

Pros: ease of install
Cons: no directions for recommended use
Very easy to install - simple thread system with an O-ring. Directions on use & recommendations for outer bezel positions would have been appreciated.

Pros: Great gauge at a reasonable cost
This is a great pressure gauge at a reasonable cost. It was easy to install and was an exact match for my previous pressure gauge.
