Is this the correct pressure gauge replacement for the PacFab model TA 100D. Ours sent out and the book provided with the filter shows the pressure gauge as part # 15-5050.

I'm new at this. I am changing the Sand in a Pentair filter. It calls for 45-55. When I removed the old sand, there was small gravel in the bottom of the filter. My question is this, "does the small gravel come in the sack with the sand? Or, do I have to purchase gravel separate?" Dumb I know, but that's my question. Thanks.

can a side mount pressure gauge be used (190058 number perhaps?) instead of the 190059 back mount (on my TM-22 multiport valve)? If yes, is there a reason or advantage to using the rear mount?

Good morning Tom, You can but I would recommend using what came stock with your system. I don't see any advantages to switching.

Is this the correct replacement part for the CFM-240 Cartridge filter? Do I need to order the tee and relief valve as well? Also, do you have the CFM-240 replacement cartridges, part No. PO5421?

Hi, Ted. This pressure gauge will work with the CFM filter. You don't have to replace the Tee and Air Relief if they're in good condition and reusable. We do have the replacement CFM-240 Cartridge - C-7480.

The face of the pressure gauge on my S8M150 filter has become so cloudy that it is difficult to read. The rest of the air release valve appears to be just fine. Can I just unscrew the old gauge and screw this one into its place?

Yes, you can use the Gauge Press w/ Indicator Rear Mount (190059) in place of the Sr Pressure Gauge (33600-0023t) for the Sta-Rite System 3 Cartridge S7M120, S8M150, S7M400, S8M500 filter systems.

I am getting conflicting information on the size of the screw fitting size. Your picture implies a 1/2 inch NPT, but those on other sites describe it as a 1/4 "NPT. What is the proper size?

Hello David. Attached please find an exploded parts diagram for the Pentair Triton II Fiberglass Sand Filter. Please note part Keys 3A and 3B. The pressure gauge selection, rear mount or top mount, is dependant on the version of the filter model. Technically either pressure gauge will fit, as they both have the standard 1/4" pipe thread for attachment. The orientation of the face will differ. Hello William. The Pentair Filter Pressure Gauge w/ Indicator Rear Mount, OEM - 190059 should be compatible with the Pooline D-500. Most pressure gauges are standard 1/4" NPT pipe thread (outside thread diameter is 0.54 inches). Please be sure to wrap the gauge threads with Teflon Tape during installation to prevent leaking.

The Back Mount Pressure Gauge 0-60 1/4" NPT REAR/BACK (102D-204D) is an aftermarket replacement pressure gauge compatible with the Pentair Sand Dollar 40 Filter. Hello Roberto. The attachment threads of the Pentair Filter Pressure Gauge w/ Indicator Rear Mount, OEM - 190059 are 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Tapered Threads). NPT threads taper at a rate of 3/4" per foot. Per NTP Technical Specification the outside diameter of the 1/4" Nominal Pipe Size is 0.540". Most pressure gauges (top mount or bottom mount) in the pool & spa industry have identical thread patterns, 1/4" NPT with an outside diameter of approx. 1/2".
