New Style Waterway Champion Pump Housing - without brass inserts
NOTE : This is the newest version of the Champion Housing. Waterway has kept the same part number, but drastically changed the design.
The old housing had brass inserts, which accepted a shorter bolt.
The new housing has holes where the inserts would have been, and uses a longer bolt.
Please see Related Products below for the bolt, nut, and washer.

What type of threads are on the intake and discharge part of the champion 2 stage pump?

The Waterway Champion pump housing has a 2 inch intake and discharge ports.

what does the inside of the pump Housing look like. is it a round hole or an oval hole to the basket area

Hi, Peter. We do not have a picture of inside the strainer. The diameter of the strainer housing is round.

Hi. Please provide a picture of the motor label. There is not a tune up kit available for this pump, the seals will all have to purchased separately. They are listed on the Waterway Champion 56-Frame Pump Parts Diagram.

Hi. Your options for replacing the motor are PL2853 or B2853. There is not a tune up kit available for this pump, the seals will all have to purchased separately. They are as follows, Pump Shaft Seal 5/8" - PS-1000, Face Plate Gasket - 711-1400, Diffuser O-ring - 805-0238 and Lid O-ring - 805-0436 which are all listed on the Waterway Champion 56-Frame Pump Parts Diagram.
