I was sold a Praher TM-12 as a replacement for a Jacuzzi sand filter. Is it correct that the Diverter is to be left off to use this valve?

Hi Lonnie, This particular model TM-12-PB valve can not be used with a Jacuzzi sand filter that's why is not fitting properly. If you can provide the model number of your filter or old valve we can locate the correct valve.

old valve is Praher model TM_12. filter is Purex Triton. Will this valve fit?

The keys A, and B have the compatible valves listed on this parts diagram here. You would just need to confirm whether you need a side mount, top mount, generic, or a manufacturer model. The 4707P is one of the listed compatible models for the TM12 top mount series.

My old one only has TM-12 as the model on the label on top around the handle with no letter after the TM-12. It is top-mounted with 1.5 inch pipes. Is this the correct item I need? Actually to save having to unhook piping can I use it to replace the top only by taking the 6 top screws out and put it on mine? Mine is leaking a small amount around the handle and if I do not snap the handle back into the slot snugly I get a drip from my backwash pipe when on filter setting.

Hi. I will need to know the tank model in order to confirm if this valve will work because they're different versions of the TM-12 valves. You can replace the Valve Top Assy - E-50-S1B, Diverter Gasket - E12S1 and Cover O-ring - E7S1 to repair your existing valve.

I have gotten a spider gasket from you previousIy and have a praher multiport Valve Model TM-12-L that the casing cracked by the pressure gauge. It is on a Ranger Series Sand Filter #54928 I need to know what valve would replace this. I am still using mine as put expoy over the crack but that is starting to deteriorate I think.

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the photos! We do not carry the complete Austral sand filter replacement valve. However my suggestion would be to just replace the handle assembly and we do carry the handle assembly for your valve. The parts you would need is this Praher Valve Top Assembly this Praher Spider Gasket and this Spider Gasket Adhesive. This will be the easiest installation without needing to do any re-plumbing. We do have all of these parts in stock ready to ship!
