When replacing your motor we highly recommend a tune up kit which includes all the seals and gaskets for your pump. Many times when you use your old seals you may have leaking and seal leakage is one item which will void the motors warranty so make sure to protect your investment with a tune up kit. What is the difference between this Pool Pump Motor (PL 1152) and the Century UST 1152 (my current Pool Pump Motor). Thanks in advance

The difference is the PL1152 is our brand and is a direct replacement to the Century motor.

What impeller is needed with this for a SP2607X10 (Hayward Super Pump)?

My pump in not working and it is S15LR3 what pump is compatibe

We would suggest this Carvin SLR 1.5 HP Replacement Pump this will be a direct replacement for your S15LR3 pump.

Screwdriver, Nut Drivers, Pliers, Socket Set, Strap Wrench (like for oil filters)
This motor was pretty strait forward to swap out and was a direct fit. No special tools were required to remove the pump and put the new motor in, just the basics. There are a few seals involved in removing and disassembling your pump. Get those too.
Confirm pump is perfect match, note that label is on TOP and vent holes are on bottom.
Drain the pump.
Remove 4 bolts holding the motor to the pump.
Disconnect wires.
Get impeller off (the hardest part, i used a strap clamp (oil filter remover)).
Remove rest of pump and keep parts in order (verify each one has TOP marked as mine did, or mark them), 4 bolts for final part.
Reassemble in reverse sequence being sure all parts have TOP aligned and that seals are replaced as you go.
Make beverage of choice and enjoy victory by your pool.

I bought this pool pump just over 6 months ago, and it just stopped working. This is not an issue with InyoPools, it's clearly an issue with the motor. In fact, they are no longer selling this brand any more. Go with a Century instead, those are much better quality.

This was a warranty replacement. I was able to file the claim and get a replacement motor relatively effortlessly which isn't always the case. So despite the fact that the part didn't last as long as one would think it should've, getting a replacement was easy.
