What is the part # for the shaft seal that goes with this motor? My pump model # is SP2605X7.

Kim, The SP2605X7 is the Hayward 3/4HP Super Pump. You can use the 5110-11 shaft seal if you are using chlorine or you can use the 5250-235 if you have a salt pool.

Can you use this 1HP pump to replace the 3/4 HP pump that goes with Model SP2605x7. If so what other parts/items will we need to buy?

Hi Jennifer we would suggest this UST1072 3/4 HP Replacement Motor instead and you would also need this Super Pump Tune Up Kit

Yes, you can use this single speed motor and the seals and gaskets depend on the model of the front pump housing that the motor bolts to. If you are not sure of that model then you can always email pictures of that housing to upload@inyopools.com so we can confirm that for you.
