Generic Replacement Valve for Pentair™ Top Mount Sand Filters
This is a Generic Replacement Valve compatible with the Pentair™ 262506 Valve. This valve is used on Pentair™ Sand Filters that use a clamp on style valve and this valve accommodates 1-1/2" plumbing. This valve is most commonly used on Pentair™ Tagelus, Pentair™ Sand Dollar, Pentair™ Meteor and Sta-Rite™ Crystal-Flo II sand filters.

Yes if you have a Tagelus filter and the valve is a clamp on style valve then this would be the valve you require.

I have a Pac Fab Tagelus TM 30 Sand Filter for my In-ground Pool. I need to replace the valve, as it is not shutting off the waste water completely when in the "Filter" position. The Current Valve is a TM 12 A. It is threaded rather than flanged. Do you have a replacement valve for me?

Hi Dennis, The Top Mount "V" Thread Valve (TM-12-A) will be the correct replacement valve for your Pac Fab Tagelus Sand Filter.

Will this valve work on a Tagelus 40 TA 40D sand filter ? I think this is the model I ordered and received from INYO last fall. Unfortunately the input and output ports are 90 degree opposed which will require many changes to my plumbing. The pictured valve have the ports parallel which would align with my existing plumbing.

Hi Dustin, Actually this TM12L Valve would be the proper replacement valve for your Sta-Rite T-200 BP-1 and not the PL0700.

Replaced complete new valve assembly. Terrible design on the original valve. Any leak new assembly needed. Made as all one piece. For under $100.00, my pool is running like new. No leaks anywhere. Great product, quiet and so far no issues.

The issue that forced the replacement was the valve handle snapping off. This makes the valve unchangeable. I decided to replace the valve instead of just the handle. Due to some hairline cracks in the connector area and the fact that the handle was brittle enough to snap then other parts may also be. I also used this as a chance to replace the sand in my filter. Due to running very high pressure that was not corrected by backwash. The result a filter like new. Thank you INYOpools for your online instruction manuals
