Multiport Valve, Praher TM 12-A, 1-1/2"fpt, Fine Thread
I have what looks like a Tagelus TA 50 sand filter, would this be the replacement I need? I took the old one off and it does not tell me any part number or model numbers but it looks to be like a v thread.

Hi, The Top Mount "V" Thread-Praher (TM-12-A) would be the correct valve for model manufactured prior to Nov. 1991.

Can I buy the part which includes the lid with the handle and the unit which comes out when you remove the six screws to look inside at the spider gasket...all as one unit?

Hi, Marvin. Yon can purchase the Valve Top Assy - E-50-S1B. The Diverter Gasket - E12S1 and or the Cover O-ring - E7S1 is not included with the top valve assembly.

I received this valve, removed the old one and installed the new without a problem. Removing old one was a bit tough to begin but threads were easy after getting it started. A little cleaning of threads on filter neck & new valve installed easily.
