The easiest way to figure out the correct grid would be to measure the length and width and compare it to the measurements we have listed on the product page.

Hi, This will be the correct size filter for your filter model. If you're replacing all of the grids I would recommend the 36 Sq. Ft. Grid Pack (FG1003PACK), it includes the 7 Full & 1 Partial grids.

Hi Cam, If you're purchasing p/n FG1003, you would only get 1 single grid. If want to replace all the grids then you will need to get p/n FG1006PACK.

You can purchase the complete grid pack being part number FG1003PACK or you can purchase the complete rebuild grid assembly being part number 4810-65.The pack is just the elements and the assembly is ready to place back into the filter body already assembled.

Hi David, the complete grid cluster includes other items besides the grids like the top manifold, bottom grid locator, retainer rod and stand pipe. These additional parts make the grid cluster more expensive then just purchasing the grids.

I have a Nautilus NS36 filter that takes FG-1003 filters ( 18 inches tall ). I also need to replace 2 rods ( about 21 1/2" long with nuts). I notice that you can sell the whole assembly. How much both ways.

Hi, This 36 Sq. Ft. Full Grid - FG1003 is the correct size grid for the Aquatic Systems FNS-36 filter. If you need to replace all of the grids only I would recommend p/n FG1003PACK or the complete grid assembly p/n 59023500.

I have a de filter attached to a pentair challenger cf series pump. The label says nautilus and serial # 0987-1104. All other information on the label has faded away. Can you tell me what model I have?
Because your tank appears to be stainless steel, there are two options: Pentair Nautilus Plus Stainless D.E. NSP36, 48, 60 & 72 or Pac Fab Nautilus Stainless D.E. If you cannot tell which model you have by the parts diagrams, then call Pentair with the serial number and they may be able to identify it.

The Nautilus series does have a few different models and we cannot use serial numbers for that series however Pentair can. Their phone number is 1-800-831-7133.

I have a Nautilus NS-36 DE filter, (filter area 36 sq ft), that I need to replace the grids in. The full size grids measure approx.18.5 in length and are approx.19.5 wide. I need to replace the grids only, which ones should I be ordering? (the measurements don't seem to match up with the ones available for ordering)
I also get some DE reentering the pool from the returns which is creating a film on the bottom of the pool. What can I do to prevent this? Thank you!

Yes these actually would be the correct replacement grids or you can view the parts by clicking here to view key 10 for another option. You may also need to replace the manifold, the spider gasket in the multiport if you have one, or the o ring on key 12. We recommend inspecting those as well as for those can cause d.e. to go back into the pool.
