Hi, R. Bull. The Diffuser Gasket (SPX1600-R) is not included with the Diffuser.

Do you have any instructions about installing this part. I unscrewed everything and replaced the motor. I must have installed it wrong and friction from the spinning motor shredded my Impeller Diffuser and before I buy a replacement, I have to make sure I am not going to screw it up again. Maybe you have a schematic.

I had the same problem with friction between the impeller and the diffuser, causing them both to be ruined. I noticed in the video there is a ring on the impeller between it in the diffuser. There is not one of these in the video, is this because the super pump does not have one? I hand tightened the impeller, what else could have caused them to become to close and rub ruining both parts? Thanks, Aaron

The SPX2600B is used for both Super II (uses impeller ring) and Super Pump (does not use impeller ring). The Super II models will use this diffuser for pumps from 1987 and prior 1/2HP-2.0HP. The Super pump models will use it for models 1984-to Present 1/3HP-2.0HP. If the pumps were not manufactured in the date ranges, possibly you have installed the incorrect parts.

Attached are several pictures of my old Hayward pump housing. This pump housing installed in 1999 is made up of three parts. I need a replacerment for each.
The part numbers are SP-2800-B, SP-2600-E, andsP-1600-F. I have the impeller already SPX2607C and it has worked with this housing first time I replaced it 5 years ago. Can you help me?

Hi Probal and thank you for the kind words! This will not work on your SP1600 series pump, so you will need to upgrade to the 1.5HP 2600-style drivetrain. It includes everything you will need.
