Tom - Yes, this volute has a gasket between the volute and the seal plate. It will be one of two options depending on the year and make of the pump. See the parts lists for the Pentair pumps using this volute under "Volute, Wfe (almond) (after 11/98) (350015)" For example if you have a Whisperflow Pump you will need #9 Gasket Seal Plate. That's the main gasket. You may also need an impeller O-ring, an difusser O-ring and an motor shaft Seal.

Hi, Jim. Yes, this is the correct Volute for the WFE-6 pump that you have. The Whisperflo Tune Up Kit - GOKIT32 or GOKIT32SALT includes all the seals for rebuilding the pump.

Is the pump housing 073131 a replaceable unit which is complete with gaskets, impeller, seals? Is there a rebuild kit for this pump housing to replace the impeller? This Intelleflo 4-160 VF was installed in 2006.

Is this the replacement for WF-28 ? I seen some one ask about a WF-28 c.

Hi, Stan. This Volute can be used with the WF-28 model pump. The model will the suffix C is the old style which has the Clamp Assembly - 070711 strainer which is not compatible with this housing which uses the Lock Ring Clamp - 357199.

Hi Joe, yes this volute is compatible with the Pentair Whisperflo WF series pool pumps manufactured after 11/98 and has 2-inch ports. If you are not sure when it was manufactured then you will need to locate the serial number and confirm that directly with Pentair.

Will this fit my intelliflo vs3050 which was manufactured on 4/1/2010? Mine seems to have a small crack that is leaking near one of the side bolts that holds it pump housing. Do they get fatigue cracked?

Hello Ed, yes the Pentair Pool Products Volute, WFE (almond) (after 11/98) (350015) would be a good replacement. I would recommend when changing out to add the Pump Union, 2"NPT x 2"SLIP - 11201-0154 for easy install and service.

The Texas Freeze has caused a large issue with the supply of Pentair parts. We really are not getting a good reliable timeframe on when these will be back in stock.

Hello Eric. Pentair Pool Products Volute WFE (Almond) (after 11/98) part 350015 is compatible with the Pentair Pool Products Whisperflo model 011775. It is recommended that the seal plate gasket be replaced concurrent with the new Volute. Please note the pump manufacturing date rangesfor the proper seal plate gasket.
