i have a pac fab 35 filter, is this the o-ring I need that goes on the sidemount multi port control that goes into the filter (2 o-rings)?

If you are referring to the Pac Fab/Pentair SD-35 model filter then no it does not. Your filter model description is unfortunately to vague to cross reference efficiently for you. Please provide the specific filter model or if you are not sure then you can send in a few images through our support request page so we can assist in identifying it.

does this o-ring fit the hayward veri-valve multi valve to the pentair Tr60 sand filter inlet and outlet ?
