How many hours per day should I run my pump?
 Reply

A  Answered on 10/8/2013 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

There are many factors to consider; bather load, gallons of water, pump horsepower, type and size of filter just to name a few. A good guideline is 8-10 hours a day. On the cooler days and early and late season, you can cut the run time down to 4-6 hours because there is usually less swimmers and cooler water requires less chemicals. In peak season, when it is the hottest, raising the run time to 10-12 hours per day will help to keep the pool clean and circulating during it’s time of heaviest use.

Can this motor be wired for 220V?
 Reply

A  Answered on 3/26/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Mark, No this motor cannot be wired 220V. I would suggest the PL1601 1.5 HP Pump if you need the motor to be wired 220V.

Old pump would not run

Written on 6/16/2023 by Guest

Replaced old Hayward pump with Pureline pump. Installation was a simple plug and play. Removed old outlet and inlet fittings and installed in new pump. New pump fit perfectly on old mounting bracket. Plugged into power outlet and we were running!

I had sand at the bottom of my pool

Written on 6/25/2022 by Guest

I first got the water clear by shocking and balancing the pool. I then needed to get sand and debris from the floor of the pool. I ordered a 1.5 HP above ground pool from Inyopools. It was the most reasonable I found. I hooked up my vacuum to the suction side of the pump and hooked up another hose to the outlet port of the pump. Next you prime the pump by adding water to the basket area of the pump. Turn the pump on and you can now vacuum the pool floor without clogging up your filter with all the debris and sand on the bottom of your pool. You may have to prime the pump a few times to get it suctioning strong but it goes pretty fast once it is at full suction. Just keep in mind you will have some water loss in your pool but its worth it because it cleans your pool of all the debris fast.

Inadequate pool pump - Needed new one.

Written on 9/16/2021 by Guest

The existing pump was installed by another gentleman, and it came with the filter he brought a few years ago. This year the pump was not keeping up and since I couldn't locate the previous repairman I removed the pump and took it to a repair shop. They took a couple of weeks to get back to me but by then I had installed my new INYOPOOL pump, It has truly worked like a charm

Our old Hayward was noisy and leaking

Written on 7/12/2021 by Guest

We replaced old hayward 1.5 hp with inyo’s house brand that was over 100.00 cheaper. It performs flawlessly and is way quieter than the hayward. Everything line up perfectly fittings were the same size and in same locations so installation was easy.
