Will this replace my 2 h.p. Century Mod#UST1202 pool pump motor mounted on a Haywood

Hello Karl, the correct variable speed motor for your Century motor model UST1202 is the EVC225. When replacing a pool pump motor we also recommend replacing the seals and gaskets. Here is our "Finding the Tune-Up Kit for Your Pool Pump" guide that we put together which should assist you with that.

Will this fit my Jandy stealth shpm 2.0? I currently have a Century 1.5 HP Square Flange 56Y Full Rate Motor B849. I know it's a 2hp motor but curious if this would fit my pump as I would like to upgrade to a variable speed since I think my motor is about to go out.

Hello Bobby, yes this motor is compatible with your Jandy SHPM pool pump that used motor the model B849. We also recommend replacing the seals and gaskets when replacing a pool pump motor. For your series pump that will be the GOKIT77. I have also emailed you an estimate that you can convert to an order if you would like. Items are currently in stock and ready to ship.

I was able to watch your supplied DIY videos and complete the job with no problems or guess work. The parts that your on line tech recommended were all correct and easy to follow the step by step video instructions. Thank you!!! I was quoted $5800.00 to complete this job. Using your parts and DIY video I was able to get it all done at $1000.00!! Amazing and thank you!

Full story. The pool's originally installed motor was a Pentair Whisper Flo 2.2 THP (2 HP x 1.1. SF). Replaced that pump in Mar 22 with a Century V-Green 270 variable speed motor. After 20-months in service the Century started sounding like a jet engine, and it also started shutting down do to an overvoltage. Went shopping for a replacement and noticed the EVO 270 was discontinued (hmm), and the new higher HP model is the EVO 2.25 HO. No issues with price matching nor prompt delivery. Installation was a piece of cake with the new GoKit. One thing I'm undecided on is the new user interface. On the EVO 270 there were so many options and no requirement for an external timer. I liked the ability to set a different freeze protection temperature, and the 3 different speed options. The new one requires an external timer. The new one was easy to set up, and I left it on the default Schedule A, program 1. I'll need to take the user manual to the pump when it's time to "pause" for backwashing and rinsing to make sure I press the button correctly. One thing I asked Century technical support about was using the EVO 270's user interface with the new motor. After 10-days there's been no reply.. I do have a warranty request in with Inyopools to the manufacturer. The EVO 270 had a whooping 12-month warranty, and, IMO, it shouldn't have failed. Thank you to Megan C for the outstanding customer service. Inyopool's customer service and support is one of the primary reasons both motors were purchased from them.
